Wonder why colonscopy was necessary, John Howard's head has been up George Bush's ass so long they could have simply asked him for a colon report. This alliance between Howard and Bush had better reap some gains for the Aussies or there is going to be some angry Aussie voters. When will these nations learn the US looks after its best interests, if it can dump its nuclear waste in Australia John Howard will have served America best.
Americans looks after their own and although i'm sure this is an isolated incident it shows how much Aussie war support is appreciated.

Australian security worker severely injured in ambush
US forces refused to evacuate man by helicopter
Three of the man's colleagues died in the attack
AN Australian private security operator was left for dead by US forces in Iraq after he was seriously wounded during an ambush, and the Americans refused to evacuate him.
The Americans actually refused to provide a helicopter evacuation flight after they were told the wounded man was Australian, sources told the Daily Telegraph.
The Queenslander was eventually delivered to Basra air base by a British road convoy more than seven hours after the attack, suffering severe leg and abdominal injuries.
Three of his Iraqi colleagues, including an interpreter, died during the attack on June 25.
The attack near the town of Al Zubair, about 15km southwest of Basra, was carried out by at least six gunmen and involved roadside bombs, small-arms fire and rocket-propelled grenades.
Two armoured Toyota Landcruisers were destroyed.
Local sources say it was the work of the Mehdi Army, run by renegade Shiite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr.
The injured Aussie underwent surgery at a British military hospital and was later evacuated out of Iraq.
He remains in the region in a serious but stable condition.
He was employed by the British-based global security firm Armor Group but there is no mention of the attack on the company's website.
